Review: TMNT

TMNTThis ain’t no “Go Ninja” rap.

This film just isn’t fun. I still enjoy re-watching the live action Turtles movies from the early 90’s, because it’s still impressive to see four dudes doing outstanding jump kicks in turtle suits. This film takes itself too seriously, and all the eye-candy moments are spoiled by the lackadaisical filmmaking. This film could’ve worked if the jokes worked, but they’re not even “so corny they’re funny”–They’re just plain bad. You’ll be pissed off by how much this film ruins classic characters like Casey Jones (voiced by Chris Evans), April O’Neill (voiced by Sarah Michelle Gellar), and even Splinter (voiced by late Asian actor Mako) for you, as well. –Josh
