Review: The Lookout

The Lookout

The Lookout is a great character driven movie where Chris Pratt, a former high school hockey star, gets in a tragic accident on prom night. He is left with a mental disability that makes it hard for him to do anything without writing down his thoughts, or “sequencing”.

Working nights at a bank gets him tied into a bank heist with some local criminals and it puts his life, and some of his friends’ lives in danger. Jeff Daniels and Matthew Goode costar. Overall a new look at a normally hackneyed and unbelievable genre. Gordon-Levitt’s performance puts him up with the best of our generation, but I think he was a bit better in Brick. -Tim

  1. I thought he was better in Mysterious Skin than Brick.
