The Dark Knight Viral Marketing - Joker Recruiting Website *update
When I got to work today my homepage was flooded with reports of another Dark Knight viral marketing campaign. It appears as though to coincide with the ongoing Comicon coverage in San Diego the Joker will be recruiting people into his gang. (as long as you’re 18 and up) I’ve grabbed a few pictures off the net and various places below:
Looks like a dollar defaced that says “Why So Serious” at the bottom. If you goto whysoserious.com you’ll see a countdown clock (at this point) to the begining of the Warner Brothers presentation at Comicon. Strange, it being that Warner Brothers said The Dark Knight would not be partaking in the activities in San Diego this week.
Lucky for us in the Chicagoland area we will get to see more about The Dark Knight at Wizard World Chicago which I will be attending with several friends and I will also be blogging live from the event. That means photos, and a live update on your favorite podcast website, SW INC.

I’m on the site here (it’s having some seriuos server trouble) and based on where I’ve gotten through various clues and hints is to the 6th checkpoint. Here are some photos and bits and pieces that I’ve gathered…
Some pretty fun stuff, I think next time they should get a server that can handle the load as this took me nearly an entire day of work to get through on two seperate computers. I’ve posted the images I could pull off of the site, and I’m in the process of downloading the trailer as we speak. Although I hear it is quite underwhelming. The one thing that is good about me wasting an entire day of work is that I won’t end up wasting 10 dollars to see the Simpsons movie only to walk out after the Batman trailer.

I spent an hour and a half going through these riddles and web pages at work. Don’t tell my manager. Even though the trailer wasn’t that great (it was already on youtube and I believe attached to Simpsons the Movie) this was fun.
Dude, TDK trailer actually looks pretty sweet. I like the way Heath is doing the voice, it’s creepy, yet not typically Joker-esque.
P.S.– Tim Toomey and his friends from college are PROS at picking up 30+ year-olds at karaoke bars.
