Santa’s Chicago Rock N Roll Blowout - May 31st!!!

Hey chill’un:

To any of our listeners who reside in the Chicago area and like them some good old fashioned fun, head on down to the Abbey Pub May 31st for a chance to experience the magic of Santa live! That’s right, Santa - we reviewed their album earlier this year and also played some of their platinum hits on the show. Usually we reserve those musical break slots for indie gods like Tapes ‘n Tapes and The Walkmen, so you know that we mean business when we say: These guys fucking rock!

Again - the show is May 31st at Chicago’s own Abbey Pub. Tickets are between $7/$9 and the show is 18+, which means all of you underage kids best have your fake IDs ready. Other bands playing, you ask? Of course there are other bands playing! We haven’t heard any of them, but they all have pretty cool names: Tall Friends, Air This Side Of Caution, and Killing the Enemy will all make this noise this fine evening. And best of all? Shit is on a Saturday! You can get as drunk as you want!

The show kicks off at 8p.m. and you can expect to see at least TWO members of the Strong Words podcast in attendance, probably wearing pimp-ass gear from Assault Shirts!
